About the Event
Lucy Uke is a singer/songwriter from Wilmington, Delaware. She started playing ukulele in 2018 and began performing at open mic nights at local bars and breweries. Shortly after, she started gigging regularly in the greater Philadelphia area. She released her first single "I Don't Need You" in 2019.
During the 2020 pandemic, she began writing new material and started to learn the guitar. In 2021, Lucy teamed up with local acclaimed guitarist, Patrick Daniels, to perform in local shows and to help produce/record new original songs. Lucy released a series of singles in 2022, which garnered air play on local radio stations, including Hometown Heroes/Delaware Public Media 91.1 FM. The singles were 'Company,' 'Evil Came Knockin,' and 'Sunny Day.'
